W/A/S/D: Control Tofu

Arrow buttons: Control Ronin

ESC: Pause

Space: Continue

Enter: Return to main menu

(Note: Pressing space more than once after scoring, causes the ball to bounce in place or go back to the player after bouncing, please press space only once after "press space to continue" prompt shows up. And when someone scores 10, it takes a while for the ending sprites to load so if you press space after that, it goes to the next round like nothing happened before switching to the ending scene, couldn't fix it so please keep it in mind.)

A game I made to get the hang of making games, using characters I am planning to use in other games I will make.

  • Ronin:  A samurai who abandoned his clan after Yuki-onna took his brother. He is now on a journey of vengeance to get him back.
  • Tofu: A tofu-kozo who escaped his village while Yuki-onna was destroying it, now training with Ronin after running into him in the mountains.
  • Kodama Nezumi: Only thing they could find in the forest that could work as a ball. Little did they know Kodama Nezumi is a rat that explodes when when the mountains are angry, inviting the wrath of gods. In this instance, as an unrelenting avalanche.

Good job! Just a little thing i wondered about: would there be a way to get the game to have different speeds for different skill levels? I know I am a noob but it seems very fast to me. Love the art and animation! ( also props for the improvement over the development :D)

The ball was actually slower at first but the whole enemy ai thing really messed up the ronins animations and only fix I could figure out was to make the ball faster sadly, and after having to play it a ton of times it even felt a bit slow to me so I didn't feel like there was a need to slow it down, I will keep it in mind next time!

Thanks for the recommendation and the compliments! <3

Appreciate you!
